Apple Chips

Hey Babes!

It’s that time of year again.

The leaves are changing colors, the air is getting cold and brisk, and sweaters and riding boots are making their debut.

That’s right! It’s fall!

Fall is, by far, one of my favorite seasons. I love everything about it, especially the food.

Specifically, apple-anything.

I love when my whole kitchen smells like baked apples. It’s such a warm and comforting smell.

To celebrate the start of fall, I’m going to share one of my favorite recipes with you.

These apple chips are a perfect alternative for those processed chips (aka addictive little sh*ts) that I know we all eat. They also don’t leave you feeling bloated or guilty, for eating unhealthy. Really, they’re an all-around good snack!


Blondie’s Sweet, Sh*t Free, Chips

1 Giant Apple (or two normal-sized apples)

1-2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar

1-2 Tablespoons of Cinnamon


Directions: Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together. Cut the two apples into thin, circular or strip-like, pieces. I would use a peeler for this. That’s how I get the thinnest slices of apple. Lay the slices on a non-stick baking sheet. After you’ve done that, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apple slices. Place the pan in the oven and wait about 45-60 minutes. Voila!
