My Simplified Life

February 29, 2016

Hey there babes!

If you’ve read some of my other posts, you know i’m OBSESSED with organization…specifically planners

I LOVE planners… it’s a problem….

The only problem is that I can never find one that includes everything I need.

At one point, I had three separate planners (one for school, one for life, and one for the blog)

Yeah…it was really bad and I was so unorganized

I searched high and low for a planner that was right for all of those things…..and I FINALLY found one!

Get ready for the best planner every…..drumroll……

The Simplified Planner!!

(Note: This is not a sponsored review. These are my personal opinions.)

I know some of you have probably heard of it, but let me give you some background info.

Emily Ley (mom, wife, and entrepreneur) created the Simplified Planner for the woman/girl who does it all. She wanted to create something that had everything needed to plan a productive day, and nothing that didn’t.

Fast-forward to today. The Simplified Planner is a best-selling planner (yes….it’s used by so many women and loved by so many that I consider it best-selling)

It’s perfect for bloggers, students, and girls who need to keep organized.

(Side note: It’s probably awesome for mom’s, business women, and other people too, but I am not any of those at the moment, so I didn’t want to say anything that I am not 100% sure about)

Anyways, let’s go over the specs and layout of this TERRIFIC planner

simplified-planner-inside-monthCover: Hardback with gold wire binding and gold corners

Color Options: Mint Dot (I love this one), Gold Pineapple, and Happy Stripe.

Inside: Small pocket on inside of cover, colorful tabs, single-day pages, shared weekend pages, 6am-9pm hourly schedule, daily to-do list, dinner spot, full month pages at the beginning of each month, notes space, and inspirational quotes throughout.

Note: I use the dinner spot for assignments, because i’m a student

The main reason I love this planner is because I can plan my social life, blogger life, and my school life in one place.

Let me layout why this planner is good for planning those three aspects of life.

-Wide range of times in schedule for meetings, dates, work, and any other plans you have
-Notes section for any important things you have to remember
-Inspirational quotes to make every day better
-Full view calendar for each month to make sure you know what’s coming up

-Big to-do list, so you can incorporate everything that you have to do without getting disorganized
-To-do list is also checklist style, so you can check off the tasks you’ve done and keep moving
-Separated spaces for notes, schedule, to-do list, and dinner keep life and blogging separated, while still keeping everything in one planner
-Full view calendar helps plan and schedule posts ahead of time and remember when to write and post

-Wide range schedule to put classes (even those really long ones) without looking messy
-Large amount of space in schedule, so you can keep life and school events on the same calendar, without getting mixed up or confused
-Dinner section can be turned in to assignments area to keep track of assignments given and due
-Large to-do list accommodates for lots of to-do’s, while leaving space to categorize your tasks
-Medium sized notes space to put everything you have to remember

Basically, it’s the perfect planner!

I especially like how, even when you use every single inch of space given, it still looks organized and clean.

Emily Ley, clearly, created this planner for all kinds of people.

Whether you’re just trying to get some organization into a busy lifestyle or you just want a place to jot down your assignments and schedule, this planner has something for everyone.

I’ve only been using it for about two months and i’m already completely in love and dedicated to this planner……

Like, seriously…I plan my ENTIRE LIFE in this planner

I honestly don’t know what I did without it

(actually, I remember having fifty million to-do lists, 3 planners, and countless sticky notes lying around….but who wants to remember a time like that)

I also use things like sticky notes, paper clips, etc. I always get everything in either mint green or gold, to match my planner.

On a quick side note, I am so sorry I haven’t been posting as much lately. I’m getting back to my normal schedule (it’s been an adjustment getting back into school mode).

I will be posting at least once a week, hopefully working my way up to three times a week.

I have received so many support from all of my readers. You all are so sweet and I just really wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate you!
